Nestled between Cusco and Machu Picchu lie the fertile lands known as the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the river that feeds their soils, the Urubamba river. We chose this area for many reasons, and the rich flavors are only a small part, but we understand that sometimes love starts with the palate.
The people of these areas traditionally felt a spiritual connection to nature and they had great respect for the lands. These norms are so deeply rooted in their culture that the people of the Andes to this day continue the ritualistic divination practice of Ayni, where by they make offerings to the mountains as a reciprocal exchange with the spirit world for their harvests to yield a rich and healthy crop. Each crop is not simply a crop, but a reward from the mountains.
Each blend was hand crafted and is only the result of a process that started as a ritual that our craft farmers and workers put behind each sachet of herbs, powders and blends. It is their signature that binds our name to the natural, pure offering that takes you to their mystic world, a place where our humble beginnings have allowed us to bring their spiritual love and natural wisdom to you.
