Experience the Ancient Wisdom of the Amazon and Andes with Ylla's Hand-Picked Blends!
How to use
Creating a delightful liter of herbal drink from your favorite Ylla blend offers a soothing and personalized beverage experience, perfect for any time of the day. Whether you enjoy it hot or cold, adding non-dairy milk or sweeteners can enhance the experience, making it a versatile choice. Here's how to craft your perfect drink:
Ingredients:
- 1 large Ylla pouch of herbal blend (makes 1 liter; Five 6oz cups)
- 1 liter of water
- Some optional; almond, oat, soy, or coconut milk or sweeteners (such as honey, sugar, stevia..)
Equipment:
- A large teapot or a heat-resistant pitcher
- A kettle or a pot for boiling water
Instructions:
Preparing Your Hot Herbal Blend:
1. Boil Water: Start by boiling 1 liter of fresh, cold water in a kettle or a pot.
2. Steeping: Place your Ylla herbal blend sachet in a teapot or pitcher. Once the water reaches a rolling
boil, pour it over the pouch. Ensure the pouch is fully submerged. Cover and let it steep for 10 minutes.
This duration allows the hot water to fully extract the flavors and aromas of the herbs.
3. After steeping; remove the pouch (save for a second steeping if you’d like).
4. Serve Hot: Pour the hot drink into cups and enjoy the comforting warmth and flavors. Adjust the
amount of milk or non-dairy milk and sweetener in each cup according to personal preference.
Preparing Cold Herbal Drink:
1. Prepare as Hot: Follow the instructions above for preparing hot herbal tea.
2. Cool Down: Let your drink cool to room temperature after steeping and removing the pouch. To cool
it faster, place the pitcher in a bath of ice water, ensuring not to dilute the tea.
Serving Suggestions: For a visually appealing and flavorful twist, add fresh herbs, citrus slices, or edible flowers to your drink before serving. This is especially nice for gatherings or when you want to treat yourself.
Enjoy crafting your liter of herbal drink, a simple pleasure that can be tailored to fit any mood, season, or occasion, with just the right touch of sweetness or creaminess to suit your taste.
